Appointment today went well. The pic line for the chemo bottle wasn't put in - it will be put in January 30th at 7:45 am. Dad's first radiation treatment is that evening. Once chemo starts the nrse said that dad will be very suseptable to germs and viruses so they will have to be very careful. They were told that if at any point dad gets a fever they MUST proceed immeditately to the ER and when they get there tell them that dad is on chemo treatments so that they don't have to wait with all people with germs. So that's a prayer request - pray that dad will not get sick while he is on chemo and radiation.
Tomorrow is going to be an early start for them... well earlier than it has been in a while as the nurse is doing a home visit and she'll be there at 8m. Mom said that they haven't had many early mornings lately. :)
