Boring?

Hi everyone, just a really quick update. Talked to mom this morning and altho it sounds "boring" (haha ya RIGHT) to say, everything is exactly the same! Isn't that wonderful?? Dad continues to do amazingly well with very little change to the minimal side affects he is having to the chemo and radiation. He had his chemo bag changed yesterday and his blood counts are doing beautifully!

One thing to keep in the front of your mind while praying is that this tumour will shrink. After all, this is what dad is going through the chemo and radiation for! The goal is to have the tumour shrivel up (lovely technical term!) so that the second operation will allow them to remove it without damage to his bladder, and to reconnect the bowel.

Once again, thank you to everyone who is dedicated to driving mom and dad 5 days/week to Sunnybrook. This gift of time and energy is so greatly appreciated. Also, thank you to all of you who are being so considerate by being aware of feeling ill and saying that you're not able to drive or visit. This is so important right now to keep dad healthy.
