Contunied from yesterday...

Alright So I am back and I have a little more time to write up the latest report.

So as I wrote before chemo is done -- there may have to be more after the operation but that's not be determined yet!

Mom and dad will have to start calling Dr A. office again on Monday to set up the pre-surgery appointments. This is kinda exciting as it means that dad's treatments are coming to an end!

At last night's raditation dad was supposed to get results from the xrays that he had on monday but Dad doesn't remember what they said and mom isn't home. She's the one that writes everything down. What dad does remember is that the x-rays don't tell much when it come to the radiation treatments. There may be more info when I get a chance to talk to mom.

Last treatment date for radiation has been set for newxt Wednedsay - March 14... so that means tonight and then 3 more treatments! Isn't that exciting.

With Chemo and radiation treatments done that means that an operation date can be at least discussed. It appears that the surgery will be no ealier than April 20th. (as the radiation and chemo are active for a while after they end).

MAJOR PRAYER REQUEST
In talking with the doctor there is concern that the colon may not be able to be reconnected! This is a BIG prayer request especially for Dad. He mentions it everytime we talk. Please pray that the doctor will be able to reconnect the colon. Prayer that God's healing hand with stretch and re-size/reshape the colon and there will be no reason that it can not be reconnected! Without this re-connection he will need to keep the cathitor and he would really like to get rid of it as is has caused greater stress then was explained for both mom and dad!

So yeah that's the news I know!

Thanks again to everyone that has been there to support through prayers, visits, calls and driving. I'm sure some of the drivers won't know what to do with themselves in the evenings now! If you show up on mom and dad's doorstep they may even get in the car with you and drive around a bit if you're going through driving withdrawl!

Take Care
With Love
Amy and Jared (for the gang)
